Feeding guidance

The calculator and guides on Raw Dog Foods give general information based on percent of body weight feeding, a method widely used by raw food manufacturers and raw feeders. It is a starting point. It does not account for your dog's health, breed, metabolism, neutering status or medical history.

Always consult a vet or a qualified canine nutritionist before changing your dog's diet, and in particular before raw feeding a puppy, a pregnant or nursing dog, an elderly dog or a dog with any medical condition. Monitor body condition and adjust. If your dog is unwell, see a vet. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a treatment or a claim that raw food prevents or cures any condition.

Prices are checked by hand and shown with the date they were checked. They will drift. Always confirm the current price with the seller before buying. Where a price could not be confirmed, the site says so rather than estimating.
