Privacy policy
This site collects as little as possible. No accounts, no cookies, no sign up forms. Here is exactly what happens when you use it.

The calculator
Everything you type into the calculator is processed in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. When you press Calculate, the inputs are added to the page address (for example ?w=20&stage=adult) so you can bookmark or share the result. That address is not stored by us.
Analytics
Raw Dog Foods uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy focused service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or persistent identifiers. It records page views and a few named actions (a calculation was run, a brand link was clicked) in aggregate. IP addresses are not stored. Because there are no cookies, there is no cookie banner. Plausible's own policy is at plausible.io/data-policy.
The site may also load Ahrefs Web Analytics, which works the same way: cookie free, aggregate only.
Affiliate links
Brand links go through a redirect on this site (/go/...) and then, for affiliate brands, through the Awin network before reaching the brand's website. Our redirect records that a click happened and which page it came from, with no personal data. Awin and the brand may set cookies on their own domains to attribute a sale. Those are governed by their privacy policies: Awin privacy policy.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not access or store that data.
If you email hello@rawdogfoods.co.uk, we keep the message for as long as needed to reply and deal with it. We do not add you to any list.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be deleted. In practice the answer is almost always none, because the site does not collect any. Email the address above with any request.
